We celebrated over the weekend with a family (she calls it her "Old People Party") gathering. We also planned family pics that day, and the kids had their dance recital that afternoon/evening. So, we had a lunch and cookies and ice cream, which were a big hit. Mia got lots of nice goodies, including an American Girl baby doll, 8 dresses, boots and horseback riding lessons, books, jewelry, money and a weekend of fun. After the dance recital we took her to Chef Show, her favorite Japanese restaurant.
On Monday, her actual birth day she asked for McDonalds oatmeal for breakfast. We then had Quizno's for lunch, and BBQ'ed hot dogs and pineapple for dinner. She had a great day, got to lounge around in her pj's and play on the computer.

I can't believe how grown up she is! Especially ordering something healthy from Mc Donald's! Enjoy the time you have together because before you know it she'll be a teenager-
