The muffins that took me 5 years to make

My friend Lory posted this recipe 5 years ago:

Bob's Bran Muffins-- do yourselves a favor-- DO IT This is the best Bran muffin EVAH. Usually I really detest bran muffins because they're BLAH flavored and dry out within seconds of cooling from the oven.

These lasted, and both the kids and the grownups loved them.
Ingredients:

Ingredients:
1 cup Wheat Bran
1 - 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 cup Raisins (Unsulfured)
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
3/4 cup Milk
1/2 cup Molasses or Honey
1/2 cup applesauce
2 Tbsp Oil
1 Egg, beaten

Directions:
Stir together: bran, flour, soda and baking powder. Then stir in raisins and set aside. Blend milk, molasses, oil, applesauce and egg. Add to dry ingredients and stir JUST UNTIL MOISTENED. Spoon into greased muffin tins, sprinkle with oatmeal for topping and bake in preheated 400 degrees oven for 15 minutes or until muffins pull away from sides of cups.

Makes 12 marvelous muffins!

It only took me 5 years to make them!

YUM!  Thanks Lory!
